Over the past two years, Umbria Airport – Perugia ‘San Francesco d’Assisi’ has embarked on a journey of investments aimed at energy efficiency and sustainability, both environmental and social. In this context, SASE has initiated the first concrete actions towards the ‘Net Zero Carbon Emissions’ goal, through a gradual process that includes the renewal of its vehicle fleet, the replacement of lighting with LED technology, the installation of photovoltaic systems, and support for environmental and social sustainability projects.
We have already taken concrete actions to make our airport increasingly sustainable. Here are the key points of our commitment and the initiatives we are carrying out to reduce our environmental impact.
